Hi, I’m Jessica! I’m the heart behind Chapman Photo & Film, and chances are we’ll become friends before your wedding day is over. My husband, Clay, and I built this business together because we genuinely love serving couples and telling stories that feel just as beautiful as the memories themselves.
Long before I picked up a camera, I fell in love with the outdoors. I grew up camping in the mountains, trail riding with Jeep groups, and spending weekends exploring places most people never knew existed. So when it comes to scouting breathtaking locations for your elopement, it honestly feels like coming home. Whether it’s chasing that mountain glow or watching the sun melt into the ocean, those are the places that inspire me most. Give me a crispy Diet Coke, an epic view, and a couple madly in love, and I’m in my happy place. Creating unforgettable experiences for my couples brings me just as much joy as documenting them.
When we’re not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find us chasing another adventure with our two kiddos, exploring a new mountain town or coastal beach, or slowing down to soak in the little moments together at home. Those adventures remind me that the best memories aren’t always the big, perfectly planned ones. They’re the quiet in-between moments that become part of your story, and that’s exactly what inspires the way I photograph every wedding day.
At the end of the day, I want you to look back and remember how your wedding felt, not how stressed you were trying to pose. I’ll absolutely tell you where to stand, what to do with your hands, and when the light is just right, but I’ll never ask you to be anyone other than yourselves. My job is to help you feel comfortable, present, and completely taken care of so you can soak in every second while I create images that feel timeless, effortless, and genuinely you.

Hi, I'm Clay! By day, I'm a machinist, and on wedding days, I'm Jessica's right-hand man. She's definitely the one who runs the show around here, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I just get the fun job of helping bring her vision to life while making sure your day runs as smoothly as possible.
Whether I'm photographing alongside Jessica, capturing moments on video, or standing with you as your officiant, my goal is simple: to help create a wedding day that feels relaxed, meaningful, and true to who you are.
When I'm not at work or photographing weddings, you'll usually find me spending time with our family, out on the boat, or piddling with a project around the house. I've always enjoyed working with my hands, and getting to build this business alongside my wife has been one of the greatest blessings.
One of my favorite parts of what we do is getting to witness so many incredible love stories. Whether I'm behind the camera or helping you say "I do," I'm honored to be part of such an important day and to help create memories you'll cherish for a lifetime.
